Week one so far…

I finally have a little battery charge and a signal for data. This week has been a lot more difficult than I expected. Leaving Tahoe there was a lot of snow. And it was a lot more difficult to pass than I thought. I am not carrying micro spikes or an ice axe. They aren’t necessary but I just have to go slow I’m not used to traveling on snow. I’m making very slow time. And hope to get to Sierra City by the day after tomorrow about 3 days past the time I wanted. But I feel refreshed. I just had my first beer on the road. From a trail angel.
