First two weeks

The posts and pictures and days are all mixed up. I haven’t had the trifecta of battery charge, time, and bandwidth at reasonable times. Today is day 15. I’m at Belden town resort, about 195 miles down trail from where I started. I’ve hiked more, but those are the trail miles. So far, highlights include rattlers, deer, lost water filters, hitchhiking with people who maybe shouldn’t be driving, wildflowers, and some cool and some cold hikers.

The wise words of the great Shortcut keep coming back to me, “Everyone has to hike their own trail.” So, I may roll back expectations in finishing NorCal this round. I still have a few days to figure things out
